Wildfire Recovery

Support our mission by contributing a donation.

The recent wildfires in Los Angeles have left behind a devastating impact—scorched landscapes, toxic ash, and contaminated soil threaten both ecosystems and communities. The SoCal Post-Fire Bioremediation Coalition is working on the ground to restore fire-affected areas using nature-based solutions that promote long-term ecological healing. This is necessary prior to rebuilding because wildfire-affected soil is often contaminated with toxins and unstable, posing health and environmental risks that must be mitigated through bioremediation to ensure a safe and resilient foundation for recovery.

Your support is crucial in helping us rebuild and regenerate these fragile landscapes.

Why give?

  • Restore Fire-Damaged Ecosystems

Your donation helps revitalize fire-scorched landscapes by supporting nature-based solutions like mycoremediation to heal the soil and restore biodiversity.

  • Prevent Toxic Runoff

Burned areas release hazardous toxins into waterways; your support funds efforts to stabilize soil and protect communities from water contamination.

  • Support Community-Led Recovery

Wildfire recovery should be accessible and community-driven—your contribution empowers local organizers, scientists, and volunteers working on the ground.

  • Innovate Sustainable Solutions

Conventional fire recovery methods often neglect long-term ecological health; by donating, you’re investing in regenerative, science-backed restoration techniques.

  • Combat Climate Change Effects

Wildfires are worsening due to climate change; your support helps implement solutions that increase resilience and mitigate future disaster risks.

  • Create a Model for the Future

Your generosity contributes to pioneering wildfire recovery strategies that can be replicated in fire-prone regions worldwide, ensuring lasting impact.
